Back in July, LPGA Tour Pro Paula Creamer won the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic presented by Kroger, by two shots, playing the Pink Precept Lady iQ180 all four rounds. The victory is her third this year and fourth since switching to the Precept Pink Lady iQ 180 golf ball. So what makes the Precept Lady iQ 180 different from other golf balls on the market? This is what my wife Karen set out to find out by playing Precept Lady iQ 180 golf balls for the past 3 weeks.

Look and Feel
Karen’s first impression of the Lady iQ 180 was the cool translucent honeycomb appearance of the golf ball and the shadows that the dimples created around its exterior. She recently noticed that the dimples on the Brilliant Clear version , have a striking resemblance to Beijing’s swim venue the “Watercube.” But don’t let its cool looks fool you into believing that this is your avergae lady’s golf ball.
Performance
Marketed towards women with slower swing speeds, seeking optimum perfomance all around the course, the Precept Lady iQ 180 lives up to its billing as, “The Softest Lady’s ball on the market.” Off the tee, the Lady IQ 180 performs flawlessy, whether your hitting a driver or an iron. The Lady iQ 180 uses Seamleass Cover Technology, giving Karen’s tee shots a consistent and straighter flight everytime, unlike any other ball she has played before. The amount of carry her ball would roll after they landed was quite nice, making her shots carry much further than normal. Even from the fairway or rough Karen’s shots traveled on a straight path, this is in part because the Lady iQ 180 golf ball utilizes technology that reduces the amount of execessive sidespin, which can cause your ball to slice or push. In and aorund the green the Lady iQ 180 performed very well, providing the right amount of spin and control for her chip’s and pitch’s. Putting was another area where the Precept Lady iQ 180 shined, providing great feel and feedback when making long and short putts. Overall, Karen was really impressed by the Precept Lady iQ 180 and how much a difference a womens specific golf ball can make. “I always thought, all golf balls were the same, but I stand corrected.” If your in the market for a great all around womens golf ball, pick up a box of the Precept Lady iQ 180’s, you won’t be dissappointed.
The Precept Lady iQ 180 is available in Sharp White, Brilliant Clear (tested), Bright Pink, or Bright Pink/Bright Yellow combo for $30 a dozen.
