The Ashworth men’s knit collection is made up of four parts that can cross merchandise.The first part is designed for a more classic look using an innovative state of the art process. This process created a functional luxury aspect to our line that we refer to as Hi-Def cotton. An alternative to the hard to care for double mercerized look, these shirts are super soft, light and comfortable with no curl collars. The label for this part of the group is the classic Ashworth label that has been redesigned with a more minimal and attractive looking finish.
Ashworth Golf 2009 Spring/Summer 3rd Groove Shirt
The second part of the men’s collection is what Ashworth refer’s to as their ‘3rd Groove Performance’. For this Ashworth uses the most innovative blends of pima cotton and polyester to combine into the ultimate performance and comfort. Moisture wicking, breathable, lightweight, snagless and odorless, the styling here is slightly more innovative and they use a more modern Ashworth Golf Company heat transfer label. You’d never guess that these shirts have polyester in the fabric, they feel and look like a regular cotton polo. Great for easy transitioning from the workplace to the golf course, and post round dinner.
The third and fourth parts of our men’s collection are ‘capsule’ sub-brands directed to supplement the Ashworth Golf Company merchandise mix with fresh looks for our ever-expanding golf community.
ASHW 33 is directed toward a younger mind-set.Made with performance fabrics. Unique graphic elements and stitching details create a subtle avant garde look with a ‘mod fit’, slimmer by one size than our classic fit. The ASHW 33 line was a nice departure from the baggy/looser fitting stereotypical golf shirt. The line reflects their deep respect for the innate style of the game.
