At the 2009 PGA Merchandise Show, I got to checkout the Bushnell Golf PinPro Laaser Rangefinder, a point-and-shoot device that looks like a radar gun that the police use to catch speeding drivers. But instead of measuring speed, it measures distance to the flag or any object on the golf course.
Bushnell Outdoor Products, makers of the No. 1 laser rangefinder in golf, has introduced the PinPro, a pistol-shaped, point-and-shoot device designed specifically for golfers who play courses with reflective prisms on the flagstick. The new product which went on sale this month is available for $249.
Key Features:
- Capable of ranging more than 300 yards to a reflective prism on flagstick and 450 yards to trees
- Simple to use single hand pistol grip configuration
- Carabineer clip for convenient attachment to a golf bag
- External display
- Audio Reinforcement
- Provides distance in yards or meters
- 9-volt battery included
The PinPro also features an integrated carabineer clip, allowing golfers to conveniently attach it to their golf bag and provides easy access during the round
I’ll be testing out the PinPro in the coming weeks, so be sure to check back. In the meantime visit BushnellGolf.com for more information and watch the video.

In my experience, Bushnell has been making steady improvements in their Rangefinders. The quality of glass components has improved along with more rugged design and higher attention to fit and finish of the laser rangefinders. Compared to other brands, Bushnell Laser Rangefinders are a great value. I would strongly recommend these models for anyone interested in golf laser rangefinder.
