I think the first reason I should win this contest, is that I am the first comment! But my main reason is I play on one of Freddie’s courses in CA (San Juan Oaks) – and it has a back nine that punishes any mistakes (so I need a lot of golf balls) and it gets damn hot so I need a hat to protect my thinning hair! Great contest, keep them coming

Blaine Ballard April 6, 2009 at 9:13 pm

The reason I think I should win this content is because Bladefrog is a suck-up. Just kidding…kinda. ;-)

However, I do agree with his comment on the contest. Nice play fellas. I game the E6+ currently and it would be great to try the RX or E7+.

Mike Rausch April 7, 2009 at 1:03 am

I believe I should win because I’m testing all kinds of new balls lately and looking maybe to make a switch. Going to play the Srixon Z Star balls this week. I have been hearing good things about Bridgestone. What better way to test their balls than to get a dozen free? :)

Mike Rausch April 7, 2009 at 1:04 am

Rob, what happens if Freddy and/or Brandt miss the cut?

Rob April 7, 2009 at 7:54 am

Mike it doesn’t matter if they miss the cut. If you provide the combined 4 round total scores for both players you’ll get an extra 10 entries regardless if they don’t make the cut. Though I doubt that they would miss the cut.

It works to your advantage to provide the total scores.

Thanks and Good Luck.
Rob

These balls would be a perfect fit for my new cobra irons. Besides I’m
old and need new balls.

Snedeker = 292
Couples = 284

Pedro Lopez April 8, 2009 at 12:21 am

I think I should win because I currently play the Bridgestone e6+ balls, and I want to show my 2 year-old daughter how good Bridgestone balls really are so she can use them also when she starts to play :-) .

Pedro Lopez April 8, 2009 at 12:24 am

Fred Couples 279 and Brandt Snedeker 275 = 554

alex kap April 8, 2009 at 12:36 am

i should win this contest, because since bridgestone was precept i have supported your company with irons and balls, now a poor college student i still use bridgestone irons and balls because the forgings quality is second to none and the b330 lets me pound the sh*t out of my drives and spin my wedges

Doug Albers April 8, 2009 at 7:49 am

If I win I would legally change my name to Fred Snedeker, but you could call me FredSned.

Fred – 290
Sned – 287
FredSned Total = 577

GolfSpy X April 8, 2009 at 9:11 am

Good Luck Everyone!

E-Roc April 9, 2009 at 7:35 am

I believe I should win because I’m a Bridgestone ball fanatic. I only purchased (multiple boxes of) e5+ and e6+ for my 2008 golf season and would love a shot to play the new e7 & B330 RX.

Total Score:
Fred Couples 292 and Brandt Snedeker 290 = 582

Good luck to all!

E-Roc April 9, 2009 at 7:36 am

…besides, having hats that say “BOOM IT” on the side is bada$$…

chris mills April 9, 2009 at 12:36 pm

Fred Couples 292 and Brandt Snedeker 286= 578

I’ve spent the last hour on-line searching for the name or other photos of the latino beauty with Fred Couples on the bridgestone “fan mail” commercial – that has led me to this site. Who is she, and why is she on the commercial? http://www.bridgestonegolf.com/en/video/player.aspx is she supposed to be a therapist to Freddie as he is laying on the couch? She is dressed like a “doctor”. I don’t think Freddie has a daughter… She takes off the glasses then speaks into the camera… classicly cheesy!

Ok, so why do i deserve these balls and hat? Because I wonder about these things, I wonder what company would put out such a cheesy commercial and what their product is like, I wonder why my golf game is so bad when I waste time searching on the internet for Latino beauties that have no function in a commercial except to be “hot”.

Mr. P April 9, 2009 at 2:28 pm

I need these balls because my wife took mine……she loves the B330′s

Jeremy Stimpson April 9, 2009 at 3:29 pm

Fred Couples 275 and Brandt Snedeker 275 = 550

Paul April 9, 2009 at 11:07 pm

I would like to win because I am new to the game and can use all the help I can get!

Robin April 9, 2009 at 11:44 pm

snedekar: 271
couples 292
= 563

Jim April 10, 2009 at 3:02 pm

they both miss the cut
Fred Couples 146
Snedekar 150
Total 196

I need me some golf balls

Jim can't add April 10, 2009 at 10:02 pm

Hey Jimbo,

I think you need more than golf balls. I’d start by getting your money back from your 2nd grade teacher. You might need a math lesson or two.

Or:

Go to Start, then Accessories, and click on Calculator.

Freddy – 146
Sneds – 150
Total (drum roll please, Jimbo) – 296

I think I should win because Freddy finally has more gray hair than I do. Of course, I have no hair, so it’s not much of a fair fight. Meanwhile, Sned’s mop will make up for my lack of lettuce up top. So gimme those damn balls, please.

PS Stay hot, Jimbo.

Paul April 11, 2009 at 6:35 pm

And today’s reason I want to win…. I lose lots of balls. (see earlier comment – I’m new at this game.)

Paul April 11, 2009 at 6:43 pm

How sad –

Freddy Couples – 146
Brandt Snedeker – 150

or a total of 296

I realize I wasn’t the first to put this up, but I want the balls!
Plus, I would have liked to see Freddy play through the weekend.

Kenny Perry April 12, 2009 at 6:49 pm

Freddy Couples – 146
Brandt Snedeker – 150

or a total of 296

I should win because I’ve never won anything….. Still.

jennifer June 15, 2009 at 8:37 am

i should win b/c i am trien to win these for my fiance. he works two jobs to support us, and takes care of our landscapin as well as my parents. and when he can find the down time, he loves to play golf. he looses balls practicing and i know theese would be a big help!

Betty White August 5, 2009 at 12:07 pm

Who is the pretty young lady shown with Freddie Couples in your commercial.
Thanks

Jim Thomas August 6, 2009 at 6:51 pm

Last year I started to play the E6+ I was a 26 handicaper. My goal this year was to get down to a 9. I play at least 9 holes every day and this lst week my handicap was 9.5. I credit this to Bridgestone balls. I have to reset my goals for the end of the year. 7 sounds good to me. Thanks Bridgestone!

civel stewart August 14, 2009 at 10:40 am

I just wanna be like freddy who’s got Bridgestone Balls

DAVE GREISINGER August 17, 2009 at 10:40 am

I just bought a dozen e5′s because of the Bridgestone/couples TV ad.I am 62 and play golf about 5 times a week.I have used pro v’s, Nike, and some Top flight things called crazy long. The E5 played as long or longer then anything I have used. But the big difference is putting.I have always heard of a balls softness and never really noticed it.Well you will with this ball.I noticed it on the first putt from the sound.I have used the same putter for 10 years and this ball is the best ball I have ever put in the hole.

rick December 31, 2009 at 11:21 pm

I should win the balls because I have been playing these since they came out into the market place. I will continue to play these balls even if I do not win, because they are the best balls on the market today.

Thanks
Rick

Rod Saylor February 6, 2010 at 8:59 am

I play only E-6 balls and won both leagues I played in last year. The kicker is I finally got my partner to try Bridgestones and he shot the best round of the season with them on the last night of league to help win it for us. I need more golf balls to supply him! Thanks
Rod

Charles Earl February 18, 2010 at 8:59 pm

I was given one of the RX B330, I knew it was the ball for me. I played one of our tuffer golf courses and on the front I had a 40 and on the back I had a 41 with three 7s. If the Bull Fighter Lee Travino HAHAHA had good thinks to say I’ m sold and Freddy been a spokesman for Bridgestone for a while.

Thanks Charlie

Wes Ingle April 9, 2010 at 1:27 pm

I think I should win because ,1, I just retired and need new golf equipment and can’t afford it ,just u kidding. I like the Pro V-1 but need a ball for slower swing speeds,at 63 years my swing is pretty slow. Fred Couples 282 and Brandt Snedeker 288.

Jody Thompson April 15, 2010 at 3:39 pm

I should win because I have been playing the pro v1 since it first came out and after playing the Bridgestone tour b33 rx a couple of times I am ready to change. Also, as I am getting a little older (47) my swing speed has dropped a little and this ball is perfect for me.

John Burr May 30, 2010 at 8:30 pm

Oh i so deserve to win there because im sick of looking in the woods at golf courses for my old ones!!

Herb. Moore July 13, 2010 at 8:04 pm

I would like to thank Bridgestone for holding their golf ball testing. I took part in your test at the Penticton Golf & Country Club in Penticton B.C. Canada July 13, 2010 and was told that the Tour B330-RX wold suit my swing better than the Titelist Pro V1 that I have been using. After the test I purchased a sleeve of the B330-Rx balls to try on my round for the day and got a hole in one on #16 par 3 hole with a 7 iron at 143 Yrds. I also shot a one under 34 on the back nine using this ball. I am impressed with this ball, thank you. I am 72Yrs of age and play to a 10 handicap

kirk flowers January 22, 2011 at 3:06 pm
