The Odyssey Backstyke and Nike Method are presently being tried by me and a friend on some courses and putting greens in my area. Time will tell. About the loft, I'm not sure if changing the loft of the Method would change the performance of the putter. In theory no, because loft is what helps lift the ball and the polymetal grooves are design to get the ball rolling smoothly.
