just bought a 10.5 zl w/ voodoo lite shaft. end of last season i was hitting it great with my sq 5000 13* sr shaft, but w/ very high traj. figure the 10.5 will go lower and roll farther. i'm 81 yrs ancient & in pretty good shape. love to hear some opinions. thanks & god bless, all my fellow hackers!!!

I can't speak for what the pro's are doing along with how it affects there game or the stock shaft. I have always been consistant off the tee. This driver has added 25 yards of carry or more, I can direct the shot where I want too. That is really big instead of using a 6 iron into the green I'm using more 9 irons and bitching wedges. I'm now looking to become a single handicapper next year. I can't wait.

After using my R7 Superquad TP for 2 years, with its fujikura rombax tp 75 stiff mid-kick shaft, I found it dufficult to find driver shafts that feel right anymore. They all feel to light and stiff. I like the unloading feel of mid-kick shafts at the bottom of the downswing and this driver has that feel. Although the shaft is light in weight it doesn't feel that way when you swing it. If you like the boardy feel this is not the shaft for you. The trajectory is high and easy to hit and the boardy shaft are so much easier to lose to the right. I think its a good driver for players, a great driver for mids, and a super driver for highs.

my index is now 14.4 and im getting more and more confident with this driver all the time. as it is coming into summer time the ball is travelling further but also my swing has changed which has made me also hit farther. im averaging around 25o-260 yards now with a slight draw over and over. about a week ago i had my new longest drive, im unsure of how long it actualy was but i was playing a par5 of 480m (524yards) and i played a sandwedge into that green for my second shot lol, (i hit my sand wedge about 100m). so distance is not about size or strength and niether is golf.

Whatever weight comes in the head should stay there? or is it ok to switch between weights. if it is ok which weights will have what effect on the club. I have the Voo Doo 62G stiff 10.5.

I'm an 7 index and go through drivers more than any other club in my bag, I usually will not play any driver for more than 8 months, 12 at the most. This driver has been the longest and most consistent to date. I usually cut my shafts to 44 inches for more control, but I didn't need to in the case of this club, the longer shaft allows me to swing freely and I have not lost any accuracy and gained about 5 yards on average. Look, this is not a magic club, those who say they gained 20-25 yards on their drives were either playing a previous driver that was junk, or this particular club just fits them better. Any serious golf who has been fitted for a driver and gets their drivers tailored for their swing will not see a dramatic increase in distance when using this driver. But what i will tell you is the looks of this club are pleasing and the sound is even better. You will get a nice high ball flight, but again as a better golfer you should know how to control the height in different situations. Overall I'm pleased with this club and it will stay in my bag for a while.
