My question is what are the average distances your getting with the new grooves? I’m waiting for the VR blades to be released so that I may purchase. Thanks for you time and consideration.

During the golf season, how much time per day/week is devoted to physical conditioning? Do you concentrate on strength, speed or flexibility? Did you develope your own routine or do you have a coach?

To Susann,
Congratulation on your great 2009 season! What areas of your game are you currently working on in order to become the number one female golfer in the world? Also, what do you think that LPGA needs to do to expand its fan base and attract more sponsors?
To Justin,
Does the new groove rule work in your favor or does it work against you? You put in your new machspeed driver after testing it despite your initial hesitation. What does this driver have that your previous driver didn’t provide?
Thank you both for your time.

Mat,
The VR irons already came out last year (2009). You may be thinking about the VR V10 irons. I have read that these will not be widely released to retail, rather available only to select amateurs and players who will need conforming grooves. Perhaps Nike Golf sales and marketing could field this one.

JUSTIN LEONARD,

Seen you today on TV HP Bryon Nelson. I have been a number one fan of yours from the day you came on the PGA tour. I have noticed that your ball flight thru the years has been very low. Example hole 2 today you used a low penetrating 5 iron shot leaking it to the right. Have you thought about adding any Hybrids or a club that will allow a higher ball flight for the mid to long irons shots of 190 yrds to 225 yrds, especially par 3′s. I admire your wedge game, putting is extrodinary, driving is consistant, however through the years your mid iron game has been only average depending on the course conditions and wind. You are an excellent wind player which texas in known for, however adding a couple hybrids that will give you a higher ball flight for those soft landing shots on fast grees would surely make you a force to recon with in your prime years ahead of you. You have all the talent to be in the running for the FEDEX cup or even number one in the world, just in my opinion you are needing the high ball..!!

Now that I am retired from the military, I hope to pass my Player Ability Test this year and work my way up in the many PGA programs.

My question is, I have a Nike Machspeed STR8 Driver, 10.5*, regular flex. Can you buy the senior flex shaft for this model? I don’t think I’m creating enough clubhead speed for the regular shaft. Thanks!
