Hi!

It is easy for a "normal" golfer to turn up their nose about anyone using a yellow ball...

Well, I am registered as partially sighted and play with the Scottish
Blind Golf Society and having tried unsuccessfully with both White
and some various shades of yellow, have found that the Srixon ZSTAR is the ball that best suits me.

So, maybe before you cough and laugh at someone playing a yellow ball, think first, there may be a reason why....

Cheers

Been playing the yellow ball all this past season and liked it a lot. I like knowing when I walk out into the fairway which ball is quickly mine and the yellow does that. Much easier to follow off the clubface, and flys long and plays soft around the greens. A winner. Forget your partner's snickers and blow it by them. They'll quit snickering.

I really like the yellow, and I saw a Nationwide event on TV two weeks ago at Hayward CA and saw a player with the yellow ball. I was very excited to see a pro playing these. I would love to play the yellow but I am a distance ball person. When are they going to have the Trispeed 2 yellow. I would snap them up in a second because I always lose the flight of the ball into the green. I am an eight handicap and I don't like spin off the driver. If you haven't played the Trispeed 2 you are missing out. Great distance (5 yards farther than the Callaway HX Hot), and you would be surprised at the short iron and wedge spin you do get with this ball. I was very surprised at the soft feel on the putter too. Bring on the Yellow ball. Also, last week a fellow golfer drove his ball over and into my fairway. Didn't even look to check to see if it was his ball and hit mine (he was playing a Titleist and mine was a Callaway)!!! The Yellow sure would have helped.

Played the Z star yellows this past weekend. Yellow or white, its a nice golf ball. They are also easier to see and find. I like them from a "style" stand point and your playing partners are sure to give you a comment or two. I had a hole in one 25 years ago with an orange Topflite XL. I wonder if more colors are next.

I played some of these the other day. They don't help my game any but they are a lot easier to find so that reduced some of my walking around aimlessly time. Does it help my score.... no. I guess unless you count one less lost ball penalty sometimes. Does it increase my enjoyment of the round... Yes.

I think the yellow Srixons are fantastic!

I am red/green color blind. When I look at a white golf ball on green grass, the grass literally rolls back and forth between red and green. Very disconcerting. The yellow somehow distracts my color blindness and allows me to easily focus on the ball.

I typically play ProVs or Nike Ones. My first "yellow" round I shot 77 and found the Srixons to play as well as the ProVs or Ones.
