During the Masters’ Par 3 Contest, Srixon® Z-STAR™ Tour Yellow golf balls were also played by Vijay Singh, Tim Clark, Steve Flesch and Soren Kjeldsen. Both Vijay Singh and Tim Clark will be officially teeing up Srixon® Z-STAR™ Tour Yellow golf balls during the Masters.

“Jim’s hole-in-one at the Masters’ Par 3 Contest was a great opportunity to showcase our new Z-STAR™ Tour Yellow golf ball,” said Chris Beck, Brand Manager for Srixon®. “We knew having four players use it in the competition was a great way to increase the public’s awareness of this fantastic product, which has already been on tour for several months. Jim’s hole-out had our company’s phones ringing off the hook as golfers everywhere wanted to learn more about the Tour Yellow technology”.

I know it’s wrong, but I kinda like the yellow ball. I played the Srixon Z-Start Tour for 27 holes last week and was impressed. It won’t knock out my Callaway HX’s but it has some great qualities.
1. It frames the ball awesome
2. It is very durable. I hit 5 trees in 27 holes and the ball looks brand new
3. It wants to stop on the greens (even the crusty ones)
4. Easy to pick up during flight

It also has a lower price point than the Premium Callaway and Titleist balls…so there is some added value.
