What’s great about golf’s four majors is that the players sponsors make special edition versions of golf bags, golf shoes, and other accessories for their players to wear during the tournament. And we put together a shortlist of some of the special edition accessories that made their debut at the 2010 U.S. Open Pebble Beach.
Bridgestone Silver Mini-Staff Bag
Bridgestone Golf’s Matt Kuchar and Brandt Snedeker, both were using the silver edition of the Bridgestone Golf Staff bag during competition. Normally both Kuchar and Snedeker use the black version of the bag. Both Kuchar and Snedeker turned in career best U.S. Open finishes (Kucahr T6 288 4+, Snedeker 289 T8 289). Adidas Golf Tour360 4.0 USA Flag Limited Edition
Adidas Golf created a special version of the TOUR360 4.0 USA Flag, limited edition footwear which was worn by adidas Golf athletes, Like Sean O’Hair, Kenny Perry, Dustin Johnson, Jim Furyk, Fred Funk and Matt Bettencourt. The U.S.A. inspired TOUR360 4.0 features a sleek red, white and blue color scheme and an American flag on the rear quarter of the shoe. Only 3,500 pairs will be available for retail purchase, with 300 available online at shop.adidasgolf.com starting July 12th at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $180 in US dollars.
Nike U.S. Open Athlete Gear
All the Nike Golf Athletes who competed at the U.S. Open all received custom Nike sportwear, featuring monogrammed track jackets, custom Nike Air Force 1 07 LE with their initials and year they one the tournament. For more pictures visit Nike Golf’s Facebook page.
